The V. Liarommatis Company produces longitudinally welded base pipes type ER/HFW (Electric Resistance/High Frequency Welding) as per DIN 1626/2-2458 with a diameter of 5″ – 12″3/4 and length 6m without circumferential welding seams using high quality raw materials.
The sheet steel used for pipe manufacture is St37 or St42 steel, 3-7mm thick and/or AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel, 3-6mm thick.
The metal bridge type slotted screens, manufactured, as per DIN 4922 are made for longitudinal welded (ERW) base pipes ER/HFW (Electric Resistance / High Frequency Welding) as per DIN 1626/2-2458 with a diameter of 5″ – 12″3/4 and a length of 6m without circumferential welding seams. The screen sheet steel is of St37 or St42 steel, 3-7mm thick and/or from AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel, 3-6mm thick.
Pipes and screens are interconnected with threaded socket connections, 2 coils / inch which are produced on CNC machine tools . The connections are welded externally at pipe and screen ends by a robotic welding machine so that absolute concentricity between pipe and joint as well as defect free welding may be ensured.
The bridge type slotted screens are manufactured by special automatic machine, which ensures a standard bridge span and fixed pitch (distance) between bridge spans. The bridge slots height is 1-3 mm depending on customer’s requirements. Moreover, there is the option of using gravel coated screens so that even sand found in the water may be contained.
The St37 or St42 steel pipes and screens may be hot or electrolytically galvanized as per ISO 9227; or they may be black steel.
